Emotional Intelligence

Leading with Emotional Intelligence is a focused executive coaching service designed to help senior leaders master emotional intelligence (EQ) as a foundational driver of authentic, effective, and resilient leadership. Many high-achieving executives excel in strategy, results, and technical expertise yet stumble when it comes to the relational and self-regulatory demands of leadership—especially during transitions into new roles, unfamiliar cultures, or when taking charge of a new team. These “trip-ups” often show up as misread dynamics, unintended conflict, difficulty building trust quickly, or challenges managing stress and reactivity under pressure.

Through this coaching, I help you strengthen the core EQ competencies—self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management—so you can lead with greater empathy, composure, and influence while avoiding common pitfalls that undermine credibility and team performance.

In our one-on-one sessions, we'll use targeted assessments (including EQ 360, Center for Creative Leadership Benchmark 360, Myers-Briggs MBTI Step II and/or CliftonStrengths) to pinpoint your current EQ blind spots, preferences, and strengths with precision. From there, we build practical, personalized strategies: enhancing self-regulation to stay grounded during high-stakes moments, deepening empathy to better read and respond to team and stakeholder needs, improving conflict navigation and difficult conversations, and cultivating the presence that inspires trust and alignment. Whether you’re stepping into a new executive role, inheriting a team with entrenched dynamics, entering a different organizational culture, or simply wanting to elevate your relational impact, I'll equip you to turn emotional awareness into tangible leadership effectiveness.  Engagements are typically 6–9 months of regular, reflective sessions that blend deep insight work with real-time application to the challenges you face every day.

If you’re a senior leader who recognizes that emotional intelligence is a key difference between competent management and truly exceptional leadership, I can offer a confidential, experienced partnership to develop this critical capability with intention and support. Reach out for a discovery conversation to explore how strengthening your EQ can help you lead more powerfully, connect more authentically, and create the impact you’re capable of.
